Today we are headed home. Another fun "Road Trip" has come to an end.

We had breakfast at the hotel, and are loaded up and trucking. Let's take bets on how long before we make a stop.

We learned a lot on this trip. We learned about the stupid camel thing, that the Little Dipper is fondu and not ice cream, how to find the bull, you can park for a short time in a handicap spot and not get ...

... not too technical). I totally recommend this to other visitors. We had visited Stagville when we were here in 2010 but felt a revisit was worthwhile. This was the home and plantation of a wealthy local who had 900 slaves working in the property. We were lucky enough to time our visit for a guided tour (one of the advantages of touring mid week as no bookings required) and two hours later we felt we had learnt so much history of the area, the life of the plantation owners ...

... from the London Eye and 10 minutes from Big Ben. I'll tell you more about my host in a later blog. I was able to check in my AirBNB, take a quick 30 minute nap to recharge my battery and then I was off to see the sights of London town! I just went out to pick up my London Pass, which I purchased because it allows fast-track entry to many of the sights of London and, in the end, I would save money and time by purchasing this pass ahead of time. So I wandered through ...
