... it became clear that she was not going to give up trying. There was nothing for it, I had to get up and help before she woke the whole house!
Waking early, I went for a walk. The mist was rising off the river, and i met a man born bred an buttered in this county. As we chatted, he kept correcting my English pronunciation!
After breakfast, and not leaving an hour for our food to digest ...

I'm reeling from the disappointment of just having lost all the videos I took today--- still trying to get my head wrapped around this Go Pro technology. Other than that, a great third day. I spent the morning setting up this blog at the main public library in town (gotta love libraries for all the outlets... and internet without the alluring smells of McDonald's or Starbucks). Then I headed to an amazing-looking doughnut shop that unfortunately failed ...

I always say a prayer to my dad and Shane's mom before we leave to keep us safe on the road ((they have both passed on) and someone ...

A good 85% of our audiences both days were Amish and they showed up early to see our animals, talk with our animal trainers, and line up to get good seats.

This morning, we slept in a little and then John took off with the Loyals to go to a local magic shop. I stayed behind at the house to enjoy some quiet time and to catch up on my ...

We spent the morning with Lulu's sister Jennifer and her husband Chris today. Noah had a great time with his cousin Lily.

After lunch, we left for Ohio and drove for about four hours almost entirely along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, a beautiful toll road that stretches ...
