... I put on my dress and wore style no.1 of the day, to look a little more respectable in the rattan area. Drinks ordered, we added a side of salad to go with the Philly steak sandwich to share. Both were delightful and we attacked the salad like we'd never had any healthy food for a month. Replenished of nutrients made it easier to get back in our saddles and venture down to the far end of the beach. Cycling up to Santa Monica where it got a little more busier and congested ...

... views of the Hollywood sign and also over downtown LA. Los Angeles is very smoggy city with all of the pollution so it wasn't a nice clear view like in other cities. Still lovely nonetheless! The ride is really hard to ...

... hour for the Indiana Jones ride where you're in a car and thrown about and bumped along and blasted with air etc. it was really scary and did not feel safe but it was funny. It reminded me of Jurrassic Park at Universal Studios which was horrific but I enjoyed this one more. Not sure it was worth the wait time though. Then we headed to the main area of the park to get good seats to watch the fireworks but with the castle in them too. We were ...

After a lazy morning and free pancake breakfast (win!) we set off at 11AM for a hike up Runyon canyon for an overview of the city limits and view of the iconic Hollywood sign. Morning walks are always a good way to meet new people who are staying at the hostel and plan out the rest of the day. As reflected by the view near the top of Runyon Canyon, L.A is spread out over a huge area, which is not fully ...
