... first time traveling internationally. Naturally, I am a bit unsure about what to expect. I've done quite a bit of research but the web can only answer so much. However, the unknown is intriguing and I'm excited to have my own experiences and stories to tell. Not only am I going to a completely foreign place, I am also going into a very foreign college atmosphere. The last three years I have spent my time at a ...
I woke up at 6 as usual, still dark but excited to leave I jumped in the shower. Later as I begun to pack i was thinking of coffee, nudged Lauri awake and peaked out the sliding glass door to notice that Lisa was up. Once again, The Lord has provided healing and I am able to put weight on it and walk around. I will be taking it easy ...
Kansas City is the heart of Middle America, about as close
to the geographic center of the 48 contiguous states as any major city. I’ve
always viewed it quite positively. I passed through on the highway a few times over
the years and stopped and toured around a little on a fall road trip in 1993,
during which I went to Harry Truman Home National Historical Site and Truman Presidential
Library and Museum in Independence then.
