Worst. Winter. EVER!!! Ok...... Only since 1850..... But, STILL!!! We've been hit with a snow storm practically every Monday for weeks now. Snow. Ice. Freezing rain. This winter is going down as the 4th coldest in recorded history. Ouch! Enough is enough!!! Time to get the heck OUT of here! I've been dreaming of Excellence Playa Mujeres and plotting my return since I first set foot on the property a few years ago. Since ...

A technology-free escape from reality lent perfectly to mother-daughters bonding time and we enjoyed every moment, being silly, laughing, and just enjoying each others' company. This was definitely a "road less traveled" experience I will cherish for the rest of my life.

The portion sizes ...

... at the terminal about 90 minutes after we began, the driver is smiling nervously and I’m thinking, we should only give him half of the $101 showing on the metre. Anyway, Graham felt sorry for him and gave him $100 to which he said “Aren’t you going to give me a tip?” Unbelievable…anyway we had a tour around New Jersey which was probably better value for our money than the taxi ride home from the tennis. ...

Chilled out day in Ramsey. Explored a bit more of Ramsey walking up to Charlie's high school, tried a 'Fro-Yo' frozen yogurt with lots of extra sugared candy in the Murican way. Back at 71 Cherry Lane George and I set to work on manicuring the garden. I mowed the lawn to a match Wimbledon style effect whilst George trimmed shrubs and pulled up weeds. Ended the day with beers on the ...
