    ... on such a hot day. I don't think I have ever seen such a modern fort. It still had cannons. Walking around the beach near the fort, we passed many people fishing and a sandhill crane that was not afraid of us at all. There were many washed-up moon jellies and many more trapped in the surf.     ... off at the Pensacola Historical Village, which had good reviews on the “Things to do”,
    but there was a bike race in town and the streets were blocked off making it impossible to get there. We even had some difficulty getting to the restaurant because of it. Guess we’ll have to tour the village on our next visit. I’m sure we’ll be back. Maybe next time we can also see the Blue Angels ...
