... sunshine. The road heads directly into the sun and it is brutal to see anything. Not far down the road we cross into Nebraska and find the "Mother load" of RV Parks. Sidney, NE is the World Headquarter of Cabela's and they have an RV Park right behind the office complex. This will be a must stop for anyone heading West on I-80.

... this a first class museum but I suspect that much of this collection will be lost do to lack of interest. What a shame. Compare this with the Cole Museum of Transportation in Bangor ME where each piece of the collection has a story to tell instead of stacked side-by-side. Then we watched a DVD in the RV. From there it was an easy 16 mile ride into Grand Island. I was very glad to be in Grand Island because now I'm only 90 miles from Lincoln which is 40 miles from Omaha. Tomorrow I will ride to Lincoln. Today I rode 87 ...
