    ... Fort Worth. It was quite busy and once inside, looked like anything but a Mexican restaurant. It looked more like a modern cafeteria dining area. The food was really good, though. They were gluten aware and offered a gluten free menu and best of all, their tortilla chips were cooked separately in their own oil, so they, too, were safe for Cheryl to eat. They were some of the best restaurant chips we have ever had. Great salsa, too.

    ... the rope, such a team effort between horse and rider. Amazing. We went out through the yards with our new friends, the rider had to ditch his spurs. He had his horse in the float attached to the big ute. Here there utes are massive, almost monster trucks compared to ours. Back through the yards we went passing the other competitors with their dogs and horses. We went up to Cadillacs, a bar where the younger crowd hang out. We were there for one drink and left ...

    ... the old fashioned photos scenes. Instead we walked up and down the street, indulged in too much yummy food and drinks and wandered in and out of the old hotels. In one hotel you can admire the front and behind of a bull poking out of the wall behind the bar, just to note, this can be done while sitting on a saddle at the bar!! Sadly, we got a little carried away wishing we could sing like the locals at the honky tonk and missed the free 2 step dance lessons at the ...
