Milford, in Pike County is the North gate to the 70,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It was once called "the prettiest county seat in America" and is known since the 1880's as the "birthplace of the conservation movement". With this early belief to promote sustainability and responsible management of natural resources, Milford holds a lot of respect by its residents and visitors alike. In warmer months there ...

In Robert's Bar, Manhattan's rocked, wine flowed and we soundly slept the night away. We will return the treats when they visit us at the end of the month! Can't wait.

      TEDDY'S THOUGHTS

I must say that this trip was very enlightening. I learned a lot about the history of this beautiful country, the geography of the states and the different landscapes of the land. We traveled to many historical sites. Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, The National Civil Rights Museum, to name a few. We ate some good food along the way. We met some nice people from all over the country. Most ...

Well, the day has finally arrived. We leave for our ambitious cross country trip. The plan is to leave this evening and drive till I get tired. Hopefully we make it to Youngstown, Ohio. We will see. We are still loading up the Winnebagslo. Just got on the road at 7:35 after some minor issues. Hopefully we got them out of the way now and the rest will be smooth ...

... 8220;You know the boys are tired when the bus seats become places to sleep between tours” (see picture below of Ryan H.)

Downstairs had dinner waiting for us at Heartland Brewery, where we had a nice meal of bbq pork sliders, chicken fingers, fries, potatoes & a dessert. And no, the adults did not partake in a tasting of the local brew – in fact, it’s a test of our scouting willpower, and we passed ! :-) ...
