Good hotel for easy access to the airport. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. WiFi works well (join the IHG Rewards(TM) Club to be given free access to WiFi - it's free to join). There's not much around it for eating out, although the hotel next door has a good restaurant which is open to the public. The staff are efficient and helpful. Breakfast is ok - typically European. Overall a comfortable place to stay.

          Everything We Needed

We wanted a hotel near the airport for convenience and the Holiday in is only about 1 km from the airport. They also offer a free shuttle service that picks you up and if needed drops you off at the airport. We arrived early and although and room wasn't ready thet were happy to keep our bags checked while we explored the city. They also issued us with Public Transport tickets so we could travel free of charge (this is a generally available service with hotels). The room itself was quite spacious and came with coffee and tea facilities although there was no fridge in the room. This may not be common on Europe but is in Australia. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

First off I will admit I don't know much about the topic therefore would never go head to head on it but my question to her would be and you really think Canadians are innocent??? We don't have much better of a track regard with our treatment of aboriginal people. Unfortunately we have treated them badly ourselves. We don't have much more to ...

Today we decided to go check out the festival that was along the lake. It's quite the affair. There is  food, drink and game booths on both sides of the lake along the pedestrian path. There were tons of tents. Some of the food booths even set up a little sitting area. This area is usually pretty busy but during the festival it is super busy, very crowded. It was ...

Breakfast in room, picked up our tickets from the train station and changed some money from CHF to Euro. Walked to lake Geneva, took a boat ride on the lake - very cold out on the lake. Lunch at Burette Les Bains, a hidden gem on Lake Geneva. Walked to Old Geneva Town then back to our room for a ...

... the afternoon walking around in the twenty-five degree weather and running errands. I finally got a new bus pass that is properly sized and fits in my wallet. I guess the giant bus pass they gave me last time was a “let's pull a prank on the guy who speaks French with a Canadian accent” joke. My least favorite errand to run was stopping by the train station. After waiting in the queue for 45 minutes I finally got up to the desk. I ...
