Originally the Oxford Canal was the main transportation way for people ...

We went back past Ogley Junction where the canal will eventually be restored towards Lichfield. At Catshill Junction we turned left into the Daw End Branch: new territory for us. We passed Aldridge Marina, where they have space for about twenty boats, but there were only six there. Soon after this the canal became very narrow in places.
