My first day here in Western Australia. It had a slow start, having a late breakfast with Diane, and then chilling out and chatting!!!!!. This afternoon I went to the Birmingham Christmas markets with Angus, Becka, Suzannah and Alistair. On arrival we got a cup of mulled wine and a German sausage. We went back past Ogley Junction where the canal will eventually be restored towards Lichfield. At Catshill Junction we turned left into the Daw End Branch: new territory for us. We passed Aldridge Marina, where they have space for about twenty boats, but there were only six there. Soon after this the canal became very narrow in places.
