    ... up our belongings and hit the road. We opted to travel I 95 south to Charleston with the RV arriving a day early and then driving in the car back to Laurens to have lunch on Friday with David's mom.

    Once again our problem was minor, we were safe and things worked out quickly. David has dreaded traveling along I -95 from Washington to Richmond but there was light traffic and it moved along smoothly at 65 mph. ...

    ... for about 70 miles advertising for "South of the Border". The ads were hilarious so we thought we should stop in at this store. When we got there it was a mini city. Everything from rides to an alligator exhibition. Too funny. We stopped in Roanoke Rapids for the night. No rain but overcast and humid. Had a late dinner then went to the hot tub for a bit. Not a hot tub, more like a warm tub. Staying at The RV Resorts @ Carolina Crossroads. Very new, but very nice for $30 ...

    ... is Race Weeks and you have to show support for your favorite drivers. I think Kitty found the biggest Tony Stewart flag to hang in the windshield of their coach. We took a brief ride around to get familiar with the lay of the land. Kitty served dinner again tonight - crab cakes, deviled eggs, tomatoes, cheesy broccoli, and pretzel salad. It was great! I think we will let her cater all our camping meals. ...
