Hi all My last blog we were in Vancouver and the only day it rained was the day we went to Whistler and here the. Brocks would really be in their element as in the summer period the ski slopes are turned into mountain bike trails. A bit disappointing as cloud covering mountain tops & not worth even a gondola ride. Departing Vancouver was a 5 o' …

In season there is a small park store but if you come during ...

... and I helped shuck a bushel of freshly picked sweet corn for the group’s supper tonight. We felt totally competent in our HUSKER sweatshirts! It is a totally new connotation for GO HUSKERS! They put all the corn in a big picnic cooler, poured in boiling water and let it sit…turned out great!!!

After the game, Skip and I drove to see Queechee (Kwee Chee) Gorge. It would be lots prettier with RED leaves all around, but ...

... of the National Parks and Monuments we've never experienced. The trip should be filled with many wonderful experiences, and we are hoping for good weather.

This first edition of our blog contains a tentative map of our route. It will most likely change as we proceed West.
