On our way to Galveston we got caught in traffic so we opted for an adventure in the form of a detour. What a surprising view. The Gulf roughly lapping the shores; beautiful homes on stilts, pastel colors of beach community homes were easy on the eye. I wish more of them were caught in pictures. ... had heard about piano man Phil on the cruise boards. He didn't disappoint. The finale of the show was comedian, Azeem. He was enjoyable. I think I might have been too tired and sore to really enjoy the show entirely.
On our way back to the room we found a good spot to watch the Circus Parade. After that we all headed to bed very exhausted and ready to start fresh tomorrow.

One musical act, short comedy routine and then the cruise director took over and told everything we could expect this week. Think I could have read it all in the ship's daily newsletter. After lunch we rode with a few stops along the way until we got to the ferry that took us over to Galveston. We so several dolphins in the water during the ferry ride which was very cool.
We still had a few miles from the ferry to the hotel which were pretty uneventful but a nice ride.
Dinner was to be at 8:15 and since there was no computer at the hotel ...
