... Colin didn't want anything to do with me that first night. I think it was a little strange for me to be there in person after being absent for so long. Patch was excited to see me at first, but then he wanted to go watch TV. I guess that is the cool thing to do when you're 7! Once we got past Philadelphia the traffic got better. It is interesting to pass through so many states in a short amount of time...Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey. As the months rolled past - the fog began to clear. During our P-Town drive we discussed options and began to realize that our decision NOT to go on Allure again left us with only three choices:
1 - Skip a winter cruise in 2012? NO WAY!
2 - Go on the February RSVP cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. This was on the Holland America ship Nieuw Amsterdam which sounded appealing (a new cruise line). But RSVP is no Atlantis
