      ... odd thanks y’all.

With tea on the horizon we decided on which one of the three Chinese’s we would eat at. China#1 it was. Or wasn’t. For 4 it was an all you can eat buffet. Four pounds, all you can eat! Left home at 10:30 am for CVG airport. Checked luggage and cleared security with TSA precheck and to the gate in less than 20 minutes. Always works this way when you have time. Bev and I have just.returned from one the most inspiring.and stimulating visits to our congregations. It was not tiring; rather it was.a journey that energized us. Our primary purpose was to visit the ministry, leadership and membership of the United Church of God. We truly feel that we had succeeded in connecting spiritually with so many of our brothers and sisters who have similar values, vision ...

... below. We easily spent a few hours here roaming the grounds. The Art Museum was also good (not as good as Detroit). A sample of some of the highlights can be seen in the photos. Also got to make it up to Mt. Adams which gave a very nice view of the city, and the Ohio river. We also made it to Over-the-Rhine, which was a cool part of town with a lot of cool bars, and stores. Overall, a splendid couple of days ...

Well, it’s been almost exactly one month since I’ve been back in the USA. Paris has been in the news a lot lately, and the reports make me very thankful that I’m home. But I must admit that I miss Paris terribly. I miss all the lovely people I met, both French and other international students, I miss being able to walk everywhere, and I miss the French cheeses and wine! I’ve been so busy lately with classes and ...
