Well, after 6 international flights, 2 domestic flights, 3 'scenic' flights and lots of driving, we have arrived back at our flat in Aberdeen with quite a bad case of post-wedding/honeymoon blues! It has been the most incredible honeymoon both of us could ever have wished for and we are eternally grateful to everyone for enabling us to have such an amazing adventure! Around 11, the adults ordered Indian takeout, even though this was against our 3rd most important rule: NO INDIAN FOOD!. Another big disappointment. The last big disappointment of the day was the fact that the 'free' Wi-Fi in the hotel costed 12 AED for 1 hour! So a bunch of us went back to my room and watched The Fresh Prince until 1 AM.

... 10 minutes per person. After four hours of waiting in line and making small talk with the fellow travelers around us we reached the check in desk. At this point our flight had been well delayed, but at least we knew we would be on it. Piles and piles of bags were being tagged and stacked all over the terminal as the systems slowly came back online again. At 2pm our flight to Dubai left the gate and we were finally off on the first leg of our long journey back to New ...
