... lasted four and half hours. I had a seven-hour layover there, most of which I spent in the Air France lounge. The only complication was that the transfer desk where I would receive my boarding passes for the Delta flights was on the lower arrival level of the airport, and the Delta desk didn’t open until three hours before departure time. It is with this appreciation in mind that I respectfully wish I was eating Boston north end pizza instead. Was that ...

    ... off two hours late.

Our first night we booked into a hotel near the airport. Won't open window as it is right beside the freeway. Dinner was a big plate of nachos and drinks in a lively pub.

Tomorrow is a new adventure. We pick up the shuttle car at 9, then travel north to the Hill Country.
