      On the road home

A travel blog entry by dkauten on Feb 15, 2015

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

Her Sister Monique was there visiting her from Canada as Lisa is trying and succeeding at getting her permanent residency. These two hoots really made me miss Kennedy. If I didn't already miss her enough. Ugh, but back to the sand at White Haven... This kind of sand is so rare that it cannot be removed. NASA was the only and last company ...

When I first traveled to Paris, I was pooped on by a bird as soon as I stepped outside, and ...

... Don't get me wrong, I have found some wonderful ideas for games and some cute printable road trip activities. But I don't believe it's 40 hours of material. And even if it is I have no desire to be turned around backwards getting car sick the whole time while leading the kids in how to play license tag bingo.
In two nights we will be having a few friends over to celebrate Will's 40th birthday, ...

      Unplugged in the Park

Thanks again to the barrage of Groupon/Living Social/Bloomspot/Scoutmob/etc emails we get daily, Rufio surprised me with a private cabana complete with a hot Hawaiian salt block to make our own handrolls. To top off the uber romantic date he made the reservation to coincide with Unplugged ...
