We showered and changed before heading out for dinner, a hotel restaurant down the road. German service in Cafes and Restaurants has been very bad so far, however this one took the biscuit. We arrived, sat down and it took 15 minutes to be given menu's, drinks arrived ...

... castle, a couple of old stone tables, a hut with a view over the Neckar and through a nice forest then you get a good idea of what a typical hike in Germany is. Having said that the Neckar Valley is pretty spectacular and special in my opinion.

ok, nothing Game of Thronish happened at Heidelberg but its cool to imagine royalty from 500 years ago walking down the same halls I did... fyi, I am wifi-hustling (only using the free free via Starbucks or McDonalds) so daily updates may be limited... umm err... wifi-hustling is impacting picture posting too soo...
