... this one, opting for a chocolate waffle instead... Which they insisted they didn't have... The chocolate on their face proved otherwise. New waited in line for a good 35mins until we got and and it was really exciting. Up then down and turn turn turn. We were in our seats for less than half. The rest of the time we were pushing up against the bar holding us in. At the end of the ride my face was stinging from the cold air that whipped past. Was really exhilarating! We decided to make full use of our semester ticket which gives us free transport around the region and thus ended up at Breisach one weekend.

The weather was really gloomy, making the whole trip quite worthless. The view of the rhine river was nothing spectacular.

I guess the only time we'd be back to this place is to take a bus to Colmar.

... area. Unfortunately the early morning sun isn't so great for photos, but we discovered that there is even a lake called the Feldsee in the shadows of the hill as well. On the top there is an Aussichtsturm (lookout tower), which has 11 stair levels, one of which holds a museum dedicated to the famous Schwarzwälder Schinken (Black Forest Ham).
