Today the wind blew and blew, fortunately it was behind us. We flew through the first 10km until a slight misjudgement meant we had to retrace 100m, the wind was so strong it nearly took us 5 minutes to do so.

We stopped for a hot choc and brownie around 12am at Lauwersoog, tactically dodging a rainstorm and giving us time to look over the long route that lay ahead. Today was ...

... them. The pool was quiet. Just the right conditions to see how well my shoulder would cope with swimming after 8 months. It turned quite well with minimal stiffness. Good start! The pool also had a hydroslide, whirl pool and bubble bath so we played in them all.

We were ripe for coffee when we got back and more 'baby' time. Erin, Keith and I are all smitten by Beau's cheerfulness and bubbly nature. Erin and I took the boys for a walk to ...

Felt remarkably good today. Felt even better when a nice young tradesman came and installed wifi ! Sat in my nightie till 10:00 when it came on. So wonderful to be able to contact Willow, then James and finally sent mail to all the others. Jazz people fighting and whinging again, so sent replies. Did my washing and put it out on the line. Then we went to Angeliques. Again such warm greetings. I hadn't seen their house for 8 years, but ...

... never mind)! Juggling, acrobatics, unicycles etc. kids enjoyed it immensely and Chloe even got up on stage and danced around like a butterfly with balloon wings on! The bike paths here are amazing, and so many people use them. They have them on both sides of the road so you only have one way traffic. Lots of E-bikes. Sunny and warm but not too hot for most of this visit.

Had a relatively good sleep for me. However deathly tired all day. Managed to wash my hair and then we were off to Roos house by 9:30. Aunty Hennie bought her flowers on the way. It took 1 1/2 hours, including going very fast on the motorway. I didn't know Roos lived so far away. Hennie has been doing this trip 2x a week for 4 years now. A beautiful warm day. Roos' house was in a pretty cul de sac. Big hug from Roos. Her 3 ...
