... fun and fast with the wind behind us. 60kms done and dusted, time to enter the Tour de France.

Back at camp the sun was hot and so after a cold beer we lay back in the sun with our books and waited until they slapped us in the face. Sleep and tan.

The boards outside said "huisgemaakte appelcrumble" so Jon's adamant we're visiting again tomorrow! We then strolled around town, very leisurely as we were strangely shattered. So much so, we've decided to stay here a third night as Jon just can't face the long drive to Denmark tomorrow and we both feel it would be ...

... back to camp for the ritual that is Sunday dins. A dry off, followed by prep with a drinky drink and a Morcheeba soundtrack. Then.... Bowles Masterpiece (obvs). Pix speak for themselves. A tasty tin of beef chunks for Prego (fair's fair!) An impromptu Skype with the legendary Rich and Charlotte (f***ing love those guys) and confirmation mum and dad Howells are meeting us in Germany (f***ing love those guys too!) topped off an already awesome day... Life is so damn ...
