    Ok, so, if you read my last blog you will know that I've had some teething problems with the electrics. Well, as alway things get better before they get worse! Yesterday morning the bed for stuck and the middle section was sagging. So, after dropping mum off at Groningen airport and some very emotional goodbyes I headed back to the same site to try and fix the issue.     ... speciaity"fischbrotchen",a bread roll with about 3 pieces of slimy,cold fish.Don't mention to Roger ,he is still trying not to gag after eating one! The islands are a different and interesting envirionment,prime holiday spot for Germans,with very few English speaking visitors .     ... introduced us to a drink called dark & stormy, (rum & ginger beer)
    and later that night, well 3am, it certainly was, dark & stormy I mean. We had the loudest
    thunderstorm I've ever heard, with forked lightening & torrential rain. The earth moved! We stayed dry. Our modifications have worked!

    ... was good weather – no wind, no rain, no storms. But it also made the drive rather boring! In our opinion, the Great Ocean Road in Victoria beats it hands down – for beauty and also for being a much longer drive.     ... Helen & Chris had to set off regardless. They did however abandon their idea of cycling the bridge but instead turned back south towards Amsterdam. I was very impressed with their tenacity as we farewelled them cycling off in the pouring rain. We look forward to perhaps catching up with them again when we cycle down the East Coast of England. They maybe able to cycle with us for a leg of the route.
