    Roger and Alison are taking to car to Diksmuide today and coming back by train, so I am doing laundry, having a wander round town again, and getting dinner ready for the weary travellers.     ... We rested for a bit, and I wifi-ed while Darren had a shave, then at around 6pm we headed off and made the hour-ish walk over to Steve and Maria Grazia's place. We were welcomed in to their very nice place where we sat on their couch and had a chat and some nibbles that they had set out for us all.     ... three of us sat down in a casual bar listening to live music, trying the famous Belgian cherry Kriek and comparing cultures. It was fun to hear about where they had traveled and be able to interact with someone my own age from a different country. We become fast friends for the night and then went our separate ways. I have made so many coincidental and random connections on this trip, it really makes me believe that everything happens for a reason.
