We arrived at Dan and Andrea's place yesterday around noon and enjoyed a nice lunch of soup and an Italian pizza at the local (and newly renovated) Italian restaurant a short walk away. Dan and Andrea are both working full time and so we took the afternoon yesterday and this morning to explore around the town. We picked up our VW Golf station wagon this afternoon. ... city with lots of history. Standing on their balcony, you can see into Belgium in on direction and to Germany in the other. Quite a unique little corner of the Netherlands. We were treated to wonderful home-cooked Dutch cuisine and had a fun time catching up after some ten years since they visited us in Canada.

As I sit on the train heading to Eindhoven to be picked up for my next family visit I am again surprised that I am here and also that the time flows so quickly. ... a wander through the town, we headed north, the smell of Eindhoven, still fragrancing the air, to Utrecht to pick up the final registration papers for Larz. Signed and sealed and officially now ours, we drove Larz up to Amsterdam for a couple of days of sightseeing and exploring.
