... that aside from Mosques it was going to be shorts for the summer. (Experiment: take a backpack, and your best pair of jeans and take a walk on a hot June day..)
But yeah, Primark is the surprise new attraction for the slightly bored inhabitants of the Netherland's third biggest city. Judging by the guttural shouts of delight and flying Minions shirts it seems it might be here to stay.

... oblivious to the fact a wolf disguised as a mormon in full suit and tie is lurking outside their front door. Hopefully when I get to Brasov the Wolf and Bear Sanctuary will readdress the balance a bit.

So yeah, I got back to Eindhoven, got lost in blistering temperatures with a heavy backpack, spent too much money on a taxi and went to sleep.

... hotel. I was expecting to be ejected any minute, but we finished our picnic and walked back onto the street. Eventually, by asking again we came through Krefeld and had our first glimpse of the Rhine. We could not ride along the river as we had hoped, but had to divert away to pass all the heavy industry spread out on the waterfront. ... we indulged. As Lilli said ' the cakes are betterin Germany" ! I did not notice much difference. On enquiring about camping and accommodation we were told that there was a youth hostel just ahead in the next town of Hinsbeck. Climbing our first hill we came across it --very large and in a woodland setting, with a large stripy circus tent in the grounds. We were the only residents and had a warm night in a comfy bed with breakfast included for €26 so good value. Lovely sunny ...
