... place! Located right in the forest in a tiny village it was perfect. It had good facilities, nice food and great views too! Quite pricey at £12 a night though! The next day we set about walking in the bamboo forest. This was really nice to see some of rural China! There were thousands of bamboo trees and many walkways amongst them. We saw a snake on the way down... Needless to say I was not impressed and wanted out ...

... that we left the hotel and did a bit more sightseeing in another canyon close by. We went up to the top of the rocks and had an amazing view over rice fields and the waterfalls. It was defiantly worth the climb! All in all a fantastic trip and I met some nice people which I will hopefully meet again this week for a dinner. ...

Decided to get out of Shanghai for the weekend. Headed for the fresh air and bamboo groves of Moganshan. It was very relaxing until I decided that it would be a good idea to bike to the top of the mountain. Then it turned into a work out.
