... could only have been a baffled look on my face. The village had a few pagoda's and older, what I would describe as typical Chinese architecture. ... that we left the hotel and did a bit more sightseeing in another canyon close by. We went up to the top of the rocks and had an amazing view over rice fields and the waterfalls. It was defiantly worth the climb! All in all a fantastic trip and I met some nice people which I will hopefully meet again this week for a dinner. ...

Not really a big tourist place, more like a get away from the city. I can see the appeal of staying in one of the many $500+/night resorts on the top of the mountain. I opted for the $30/night hotel at the bottom. It was quite nice. Moganshan has made onto the list of places I would return to. There is potential for camping...

Once in Tongli we saw the big lake one of the biggest in China and canals. We had to get on an electric golf cart to get into the town as buses and cars are not allowed though bikes are! The ladies drove very fast and took us into the centre. We walked along and saw pig's knuckles and pig trotters for sale. They smelled very nice and they were barbequed. ...
