      ... in the shade. Stopped for lunch at 12.30 , the family made us lunch and went back to their hammocks as it was too hot for them. Steve crashed out on the floor next to the bikes and I made an attempt to get some kip in one of the plastic chairs. Off out again at 3 it's now a cool 35 degrees!!       ... in the company of Colin and Lorraine: a retired English couple from Cambridge. Our Jeep was a 1960's / 1970's relic, painted army green, with no windows, no working doors, jam-jar lights, and no windscreen wipers. Still, it was driven sensibly by our guide, and was a bumpy but enjoyable ride.

      ... a massive walk along the beach and the girls played some volleyball. Went out to dinner with our hostel friends, went to a seafood banquet where we got to choose love fish. 3kgs of scallops, 2kgs of prawn and a red snapper. Was outstanding!! After a few pointless laps we were told to get off this bus, in front of the exact same travel office where we were picked up at in the first place (the most pointless and stressful 20 minutes of my life!).
