Dear Bev,

Dalat is beautiful, be it a bit cold, yet still extremely fun. The hostel I stayed at is called Friendly Fun Hostel. It's run by the most hospitable Vietnamese family. Breakfast is included and the wife makes a killer dinner buffet for 3 USD. The beds are memory foam, and the overall feel is that you're at home with your friends. If I didn't have other places to visit, I would end up staying here for a long ...

So with a bunch of shivering bodies in the car we headed back to their office where they gave us beer and coffee vouchers as an apology for being a group of 14 instead of 12. It was kind enough. Got dropped back at our hotel and headed off to have a nice hot shower, only to discover we had no hot water. Luckily it was just our room and they let us use ...

Ho Chi Minh

... 400 000 dong for it, only to find out the next day that the bus stop was round the corner and Ro had paid 11 000, what a ******* *******! Sat 27th March Wandered round and explored the city. Went for a coffee in Mode Cafe, which was ridiculously expensive for iced coffee compared to what I'd been paying before at 50k dong vs 15k previously. Oh well was nice to chill for a few hours and I decided to message back Faye. ...
