I don't want to toot my own horn but I am good at finding nice places that fit the mood I want in ...

We stayed at a KOA near the water park Wednesday. I got up around 8:30 to do laundry. We headed to the water park around 11:00 and stayed until about 4:00. We stopped to get some cheese curds of course since we are in Wisconsin. Planning to make it past Chicago for the night then finish the drive on down to Indiana Friday and hopefully be home by evening. It has been a great family trip. Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed for one ...

Over 100 cars of all vintages (from the '20s to just a few years ago) and their owners were there, checking out paint jobs, headliners, restored engines, and other esoterica. We had dinner at the adjoining A&W and visited with a number of ...

... in duckweed last time is was here. We got here at exactly midnight, having taken our time packing up during the day. It pays to be careful when you leave for a long time. We packed the van, prepared our "kitchen" (a box full of food), and double checked paperwork. I even took a trip to the county court at Skokie to get copies of the kids' birth certificates since we are still waiting on passports ...
