Our program ended this morning with nothing left to do but check out of the hotel and head to the airport. Cuba proved to be a really great adventure. Our return to the states, on the other hand, was pretty uneventful. This left me plenty of time to reflect on some of the things that really made an impression on me about Cuba, among them:

Got a bruise on my hip like the one when Niel Bryant beaned me in
baseball. From the top is spectacular. You can see out over forever to
mountains, glaciers, lakes. And really really green down in valeys. Then
had to go down another steep face like before on super loose stuff.
