    Farewell to Cuba

    Our program ended this morning with nothing left to do but check out of the hotel and head to the airport. Cuba proved to be a really great adventure. Our return to the states, on the other hand, was pretty uneventful. This left me plenty of time to reflect on some of the things that really made an impression on me about Cuba, among them:

    ... anticipation flooding my heart every day. I am at once anxious and stressed in an attempt to get all the little details set and in order and the very next moment I feel like letting it all go because I know from previous travels to nations such as Haiti that you are a fool if you think you can do much but go with the flow.

    ... along Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive. Lots of Art Deco buildings and side-walk cafes. A definite people watching destination. It is hard to describe the Miami vibe, it is very unique in a very interesting way.
