The campsite had flooded....not the entire campsite...just OURS!! That's not entirely true, but that's what it looked and felt like! There was a giant lake on our site....actually not a lake, it was a flowing river! Our pop up tent was full of water on one side, Charlotte had settled a little lower in the mud and our shoes were GONE!! The drive from old faithful to Norris improved ten-fold; the scenery really picked up and we were, like so many other times on our trip, amazed by the beautiful setting. Yellowstone seemed to have it all; snow - topped mountains accompanied by the most colourful natural surroundings I had ever seen. Yellow flowers ...
