So we arrived in Palermo and we stayed with Rijsbrecht and Aretia for a couple of days. We couldn't have had a better host as he is amazing at preparing Italian food! Today an 'easy trip' to Marsala through the vineyards of Marsala. Only 60 kms and about 150 m up and down. Nothing compared to what has to come, but good to relax and take it easy.

Anyway after 60 km the GPS gave up and we had to rely on our written instructions for the last few kms. We arrived before 3 in the hotel. A beautiful place in the midst of the salt winning area of Sicily. Started with a big bottle of beer (66 cl), a shower and then recovering at the pool.
