      San Vito Lo Capo, lovely town although tastefully touristic with fab beaches all around.. Had a lovely walk into the town centre followed by a tasty ice cream, lots here and quite tasteful for a tourist destination but lucky for us it's out of season but still busy enough for a nice atmosphere... We never did find the two fresh fish ...

      ... balance, we enjoyed our time there - the festival was an unexpected treat - and did get time to develop some deeper relationships. Lots of the shop keepers and restauranteurs knew us by the end and asked us what we had been up to that day. Very friendly and welcoming. I even managed to get the girl in the bakery to smile as she helped me order the bread one morning. But the rubbish. The rubbish!       Warning: broad generalisations feature in this blog...ALL Italians travel in HUGE family groups and they ALL travel in August. Full stop!!! We knew everywhere in Europe would be busy in August but Sicily was literally heaving with Italian tourists.       ... kafle uliczkami. Z ciekawych budowli widzieliśmy ruiny kościoła (bez dachu) na planie koła (rzadkość) oraz niewielki ale urokliwy teatr Garibaldi. Miasteczko charakteryzuje się tez ciekawymi malunkami na ceramice.

      ... Borodino. Piękne otoczenie, zieleń, zwiedzanie zapytkowych tuneli pod restauracją i oczywiście smaczny posiłek, a wszystko to ok 2km od lotniska i 500m od parkingu Alcatraz, gdzie zostawiliśmy nasz samochody.
