Before making it to the Palace we were distracted by snake charmers and folks with monkeys. We stopped at one of the snake charmer booths and took anfew pics and the attached vid. I find snakes repulsive but still have a strange fascination with them. I gave them the equivalent of a few bucks and they insisted on more. In retrospect the whole thing was pretty harmless as they were just off to a better place to finish the hand painting. But parental instincts prevailed - a feeling I hope to never feel again!

Sweating it out
... very stark contrasts. I was shocked with the way the men viewed western women, even with Maria dressing as a local women, covered from head to toe the attentions sometimes got a little too much and sometimes became extremely uncomfortable. It was a shame that this seemed to shadow our trip. There were many great experiences on the trip, the landscape of Morrocco is beautiful and so were many people, it just takes alot of hard work to fully appreciate ...
