Após a assustada chegada a Caracas, onde fomos abordados por "trocadores"de grana loucos pelos nossos poucos dólares e pelo assombroso hotel que passamos a noite, fomos na manhã seguinte para a interessante Isla Margarita. O tempo nã estava bom mais o clima o melhor possível. Estava eu, minha esposa, primo e prima, cunhado e cunhada! Chegamos ao hotel Lagunamar e nos deparamos com um espaço imenso e um bom hotel ...

One the way home, we were delayed by 24hrs due to a technical fault on the plane - so we got to miss out on a days work - wouldn't have been so bad if Going Places hadn't screwed up our onward travel - see later blog entry Anyway, on the whole I would recommend Venezuela but not so much Margarita Island if you are looking to be active.

... like resort town but it is really nothing like that. It is very poor here, and what is regarded as the best part of town really looks like one of the worst parts of the states. The basic things, such as upkeep and maintenance of neighborhoods, are completely lacking. And littering is a huge problem. It is quite interesting what you take for granted back in the states. We miss you all! But we don´t miss the snow!!

Tak jsem se dostala na Isla Margharitu, dokonce i hotel se nasel. Vlastni ho Nemec, kterej je asi tak ochotnej jako Venezuelci, takze vaham jestli je to jeho puvodem nebo se jen vyborne aklimatizoval...mohlo by to bejt oboje, ale vysledkem zase neni neochota na druhou, jak by se clovek domnival, jen obycejna venezuelska neochota....mozna uz to jen vic vystupnovat nejde.
