    ... I came up yesterday.

After taking the fork the road down this section heads down into a massive deep valley and gently drops as it hugs the edge of the mountain.

After about 5 or so miles the valley becomes narrow and the road starts twisting its way down a magical pass in all directions. Some of the pass has been reconstructed over the years and various sections of old road can be seen as I descend.

... us - her spirit was alive and well today! :-).

And then, we hiked back to our parking spot via the road - beautiful countryside. It was like a huge bowl here with towering peaks in every direction! The valley was dotted with adorable little cottages, all adorned with flower boxes and very well kept! Lots more photos! It didn't take us long to reach the car. We all piled in and headed home. Thought about stopping ...

... switching back! It's been good here though. Hopefully you will be able to see from the pictures I will add to the blog tomorrow (and yesterday's blog as well) how amazing it is here. We only have Internet in the public areas though and I'm not sure when the next time I will have access to Internet will be. Fear not I will still be writing the blogs, I'm just not sure when I will have the opportunity to publish ...
