... the first stage on Thursday night there was a really big downpour of rain and we waited at a service station until it went off a bit. By the time we got there the crowds were 4 and 5 deep so it was hard to find somewhere where you could see the cars. Some people had even brought their step ladders and were sitting on top of them.

    Tomi left for work at 7:30. It's a fifteen minute walk for him, but in minus 8 I think Gord and I would freeze to death.
