I`m staying now for a couple of days in Pomerode. I going a bit around by bicycle. At night I`m staying in the bars. Its right interesting to talk to the people and they are very open. You get the feeling you would know them allready for long time, and they are allways wellkomme you, its great.
Next week will be the Festival here, more or less like the Oktoberfest in Germany.

Being a festival, we assumed that it would be an all day affair, so also being British, we turned up at 3pm expecting the day to be in full flow. All we can say is thank god they had put on a special ´seniors´ afternoon that day, or we would have either been locked out or sat getting full up on beer on our own! The ´seniors´ (yes, we mean an average age of at least 70!) were there by the coach load ...

... sehr lustig!
Am Sonntag sind wir dann zu so einem Aussichtspunkt mit Vergnügungspark gefahren, bevor es wieder zurückging nach Joinville, wo es, oh Wunder, mal wieder regnete...In diesem Park wollte ich gerade ein Foto von der Stadtansicht schießen, als plötzlich lautstark "Anna, Annaaaaaa" gerufen wurde...und siehe da, der Luiz steht vor mir. Das ist ein Freund aus Joinville. Que coincidência!
