As we said, Kurseong is a noisy place, but you don't know loud till you've heard the Darjeeling toy train. Upon arrival it drowned out every other sound with a series of unnecessarily loud and long blows from what can only be described as its whistlehorn. Thankfully it shut up when it stopped moving.
