... dinner and maybe music under the stars. It is raining outside now. How I wish I could send it to Arizona. One of my sources said that Ramsey Canyon was fine but another more reliable source said the fire came to within 3/4 mile of the house and was stopped at the road. The area is still under evacuation. Hopefully everything will be stablized in the next few days. Tomorrow I am off to the Arthur Keppel's in Springfield, ...
... to get home from work and then my Mom, Dad, Philip, my sister Kristen, Jared and I all headed to Barnaby's for happy hour. We hung out there for a while and then headed home so that Jared, Philip and I could head in to Philadelphia to hang out with Jared's sister Jenny and her husband Bryant. We played some games and caught up with them for a while before heading home for bed.
Saturday, Feb. 5th
Mom made us an excellent breakfast and ...
... a toll when you leave New Jersey no matter where you leave that state. I guess they want you to come and stay and not leave but if you leave they charge you to do that. Another 20 miles north on I-295 and we exited at 20 to check into our room at the Best Western.
We had rain along the way especially after we left the Baltimore area and by the time we got to New Jersey it turned pretty cool with the temp at 69 so it was not too bad weather wise.
