... our seperate thing for a couple days. After checking into the Canadiana Backpackers Inn we went out for drinks. We were freezing so we opted for hot chocolate. We had such a fun time and it was so good to catch up. When she dropped me off for good at my hostel it was weird, it feels like we are just normal hang out type friends, but I'm not going to see her again for such a long time! Sad ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada alifebeinglivedAs I will explain in more detail in my next entry after arriving in Japan, I had the misfortune of having to travel through Toronto due to some scheduling and routing problems faced by Air Canada out of Regina.
My experience at Pearson Airport in Toronto was actually quite good but the 15 hour flight from Toronto to Tokyo left a lot to be desired. Hana got to travel through Vancouver -- lucky her!
... and two cats. We decided to leave Mattie in the van for a while but everyone asked where Mattie was. Talk about being upstaged by a dog! I went and got Mattie out of the van and she introduced herself to everyone except the two cats - they were wise; they disappeared. Inie had prepared a feast - I can't begin to describe it all! Suffice it to say, it was all delicious. I took my first picture of Jr. and his two kids. When Inie got up from ...
Markham, Ontario, Canada coventry_kid... of each place the pros and cons and spread the awareness to stop people from making a major mistake, Canadian American nationals regardless of race or religion are constantly targeted in those countries the only we as Canadians can do is monitor or limit their offices out here, cannot stop anyone from free speech but if they are part of those that target out citizens overseas then the GOVT has to know and have to act on it, kind of like when you left in '95 around that time it ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada nationality... choice. Thank you Sabiha! Plenty of time to spare before my charter flight boards, so I stroll the malls at the fab Terminal 1, which I had not used before. Looking for a new read for the trip, I come across Bryce Courtenay's SYLVIA in paperback, one of his recent works which I have not read- I'm a big fan of his and have read everything else he's published up to this one. Figure I'll check out CDs as well and immediately zone in on Hawksley Workman's latest for Universal, LOS ...

Toronto, Ontario, Canada cumbotts... a couple of weeks, I think, partly due to excitement about this trip, and partly due to my ex and I, who have suddenly again become collaborators, doing character dialogues by instant message into the very wee hours. What I'm hoping is that the need for sleep will knock me out on the plane. But considering I haven't been on a transatlantic flight for 36 years -- seriously, last time I was eleven -- I might just be too excited. In a way, this is ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada karenmw... was often mistaken for an American judging by my accent, but this was dispelled by the big old maple leaf on my backpack. My law teacher recalled travelling Europe with a buddy and two American girls, each with a flag of their respective country on their backpacks. Guess who got treated like **** and guess who were treated with the utmost hospitality? The playing field was levelled only after the guys gave the girls Canadian flags to pin on their packs.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada soloflyerHumber bay park is a nice place to have a walk during the week-end. I have been there in april but I guess it is different in summer at which time people can swim in Ontari lake.
Humber bay is located in the west-south part of Toronto, after Hight park (close to Kings Mill or Jane Subway station). If you like walking you can for example start at Bloot st. west and Jane st. and walk through Etienne Brule then Kings Mill park to go in Humber bay park. It take maybe 1:30/2:00 ...
... movies and went to the Cameron where he was DJing and met Carla, F and F. I want to try and work things out. We will see where it goes. He's going to be on the road a lot starting in May and after I'm through with Inside Out I'll be going back to Portland. So our schedules and times in life aren't matching right now but I hope they will in the future. When I noticed I was looking for Jonathan in all the guys I met I realized I should probably just go for the real thing ...
