20 Buffalo Thunder Trail Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States, 87506, 505-455-5555
... 7,857 miles(that's 224 gallons of gas @ $582.40). All that and I'm proud to say I've never worn a pair of underwear more than one day.Very homesick, can almost smell the ocean. As you can tell from the pictures, nothing really going on now. We're serious about getting home. Wouldn't trade a minute of it but I'm never driving again. Linda's going to drive me like Miss Daisy for thr rest of my life.
Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States lindasgibbons... sums the place up!

In the evening, we returned back to the main plaza and found a great diner for dinner, The Plaza Cafe. We filled our stomachs and returned back to the motel (with a piece of cherry pie to soften the blow of the dingy room), as we would be on the road again early in the morning. We really wish we could have spent a bit longer in Santa Fe - it would have been a nice place to rest off for a few days - but we still had so much more to see in the southwest...
Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States jimandlauraSanta Fe has so much to offer. If you are going, it is best you stay in the heart of Santa Fe near the plaza, museums such as the Georgia O'keefe Museum, art galleries, great restaurants, and much more. The Indian Market this year (August) was great although slightly off due to the recession. The Railyard area of Santa Fe is a new and interesting addition to the Santa Fe historic district and ...

Santa Fe, United States sabregen... formed canyon water slide, however we forgot it was a Saturday and the queue for the park was back into the road. Undeterred we stopped down the road and climbed down to a different part of the canyon. It was beautiful, secluded with a nice stream and pool and we were all by ourselves, the water was freezing though so our private lagoon was a short stop.

Next we powered onto Holbroke because....we were to tired to drive on to Santa ...

Read information on the cave's history by lanternlight on the table.
- Took the King's Palace tour. It was pretty good. Our group was really small, which made it better. Tour guide was great and humorous. Bri was amazed at the draperies in the Queen's Chamber. Christen got really excited about the blackout. When they turn the ...
Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States cgibbons18... We are so sad thinking about her out there on her own. We just can't stop thinking about her. She is not used to being loose so we are not able to predict her behavior. We have today put an ad in the newspaper as well as called animal shelters. We are going to the shelters in a short time to take in posters. On a better note, my hair cut looks really good. I love the way the stylist (Nathan) did it ...

I posted a review on Tripadvisor so others won't have the same disappointing experience we had. The summer monsoons continue to follow us. Everyone says it's unusual, but we've had rain(!) everyday we've been in New Mexico. I thought this was supposed to be a desert!

I stared at it for about 30 minutes both admiring the craftsmanship and wondering how anyone could build it. What’s even more impressive is that the joints are so seamless that it appears to have been made out of a single piece of wood. Even I, who doesn’t have any architectural training outside of looking at buildings, was impressed with the engineering that ...
