      ... all to wear, so they are easy to distinguish.

      I think this is a great tradition to start!! How long to your 25th Wedding Anniversary mum and dad? Oh and did I mention that the parents paid for everyone!! I think the dad said “spending the kids inheritance!” But what great memories they are making together!

      ... Louisiana? Because that's what the air feels like. Thanks to our kids, we skip the giant security line and go through TSA pre-check, much quicker and easier. We don't even have to take off our shoes. Both Chris and Elizabeth are relieved as they worried about the long security line that wove through the terminal like a snake.

      We grab a quick bite to eat and a Stone IPA. Oh how we have missed the amazing taste of San Diego beers! Our commuter plane ...

      ... before his untimely death.

      We left after noon for the 2 1/2 hour drive back to San Diego. Dinner was at the Stone Brewery in Escondito, CA. What a beautiful place with plants and water gardens. The food was fantastic and so was the beer!

      ... doesn't fill me with joy I have to say. We only stayed a couple of days in San Diego, Kevin spent a whole day visiting The USS Midway aircraft carrier that served in the United States for 47 years and is now a floating "museum". He couldn't get over the sheer size of it, and it has real jets and planes on the flight deck that you can actually go into. He absolutely loved it and was in boy heaven for a day.
