Check in urgently, due to the accident in Hotel Esposizione at 3 am. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel is just walk way away from the international airport :)

We had a great stay. The service was very good. They had a convenient shuttle back and forth to the Victor Emmanuel Monument.

We awaken about an hour before we arrive in Rome--the sun is shining! Yay! Time for a quick breakfast on the plane--why do they even try? It was strawberry yogurt with some granola (that was actually pretty good), a bag of cranberry trail mix (hmm that shall be saved for emergency food), and a blueberry muffin top (cold and sticky--not too …

... cabin with seats. We got to the train at 11.30 and found a cabin with no one in it so we claimed it as ours and made it as homely as possible (well we took off our shoes). We tried to get some sleep with Lyndy and Elliot sleeping across the seat and Sheldon on the floor with Kayla laying on top as comfy as we could get. And I tell ya what, sleeping on the floor is pain, pain pain. During the night me and Kayla went for a walk to the toilet and noticed that ...

And here, I was finally in the land of Pizza and Gelato. Five more minutes was a lot longer than it seems. We had a few problems checking in as Yellow Hostel was not living up to its great reputation. They were very unorganized and we were not impressed by the layout. This is clearly one of these hostels who tried hard for a ...

For a province that doen't seem to attract or promote tourism to any great degree, they are really well organised with a map of the castle and an explanation in English. Unfortunately the museum on the first floor is only posted with Italian explanations. We could at the very least work out the dates, the location of the necropoli around Tolentino that related to the various cabinets, and the odd word helped to explain what we were looking at. This is ...
