    ... geese and even oyster catchers and Red Shanks. It was also lovely in Sandringham Forest where walking one day with Margaret we came across horse riders and on another occasion when with Johnny Hall we saw The Queen! But she didn't invite us in for a cuppa. Now we are sitting in an airport hotel with a late check out preparing for our long flight to Bangkok via Vienna with more adventures in store but certainly back to the scene of the crime, where we got married just over 8 years ...

    ... br> Our gate where we were to catch our plane from was at the furthest point of the terminal. We walked for ages. We did end up with the most decorated plane in the terminal though.

    Flight was fine. We got some sleep. I arrived not feeling too well so laid down on the floor in Abu Dhabi airport with Isabel, whilst waiting for our next flight.

    Luckily this time in Abu Dhabi we only had a 3hr stop over.

    ... and a chapter that I did a lot of growing up in! Being away from home forced me to be independent, and I couldn't be more grateful for that!
