A long day and night ahead............

... the lost time. We are quite pleased about this as we will have a 9 hour wait at Chennai for our onward flight to Colombo.

After 2 curry meals, one pretty good and the other pretty poor, a few films and a few sleeps, we arrive at Chennai.

    The pre-departure

We then ended up in brick lane, famous for its Indian food. Had a great meal, talked to some pommies at the next table and caught the tube home with thousands of others. A great day. Will upload photos when we can, wifi is a bit of an issue. ...

    And the surgeries continue...

A travel blog entry by evanbelldvm on May 16, 2013

Today had some even cooler surgeries going on today. Started the morning with a forequarter amputation of a geriatric feline. This cat had a massive tumor on the underside of its scapula so we had to completely remove the one limb. It was great being able to scrub in and see first year anatomy actually pay off! It was also a good chance to practice scrubbing in a gowning up properly. Next we had an exploratory laparotomy where we took biopsies of various organs. ...
