    January 17th= Thursday- Up early as I have an appointment for a deep cleaning on my teeth. It was noon, but they called yesterday and changed it to 2 pm.     We are closing in on home! Today's journey took us to Phoenix, our last over night stop. We hooked back up with I 10 in Las Cruces, NM yesterday. So today's drive is on highway and we made much better time. We entered Arizona, and started to see a lot of highway patrols--lots more than any other state.
