    ... Florence. If all goes as planned we should be in Florence in time for lunch on Tuesday. (Italy is 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time.)

    As with last year's blog this year's will be heavy on the food with other sites of interest tossed in as well. So come along with us as we eat our way through Tuscany, Verona, Portofino, Rome and who knows where else.

    ... a Bobcat, a raccoon, Fox Tailed Squirrels, a skunk, Cranes, a coyote, deer, tortoises, hawks, vultures, a Cockatoo and a Canada Goose! All in all Michael had a great time feeding the animals even though he was a little shy.

    ... 13.00 a nite. the camp spaces are nice (not too private) and have some trees, not too shaded and not in the sun. the first day we arrived it rained all day and all nite. and on and off the next day. on the third day, it was cloudy but dry and we rented a pontoon boat and went down the five mile "run" to lake george. the boat ride was beautiful, we saw lots of birds and manatees.

    randi got a fishing license here and caught a lot of fish from the pontoon ...

    ... the country. Glass bottom boat tours of the springs began in the late 1870s. In the 1920s, Carl Ray and W.M. Davidson made the land around the headwaters of the Spring into something resembling the attraction that is there today, now known as the Silver Springs Nature Theme Park.

    When our family visited Ocala about 14 years ago, we visited Silver Springs but already than it was a bit overpriced and under maintained. ...

    ... every tour was well thought out. I don't have to even think--I just follow my tour guide! Every time the two of us go away together, it reinforces to me that we are going to have a great time growing old together. I love you!
    *And to me-Becky the Blogger-for being able to relax, enjoy, and not worry about a thing--it felt soooo good. Although my little orange pills helped out in that department! Thank you little orange pills.
