vyfotit parádní západ slunce i bez stativu, kterej si ještě nekoupil.
Internetový připojení je tady bohužel placený, tak se ještě rozmyslíme, jestli
těch 5 $ na den dáme. Spíme tu 2 noci (cena 72,60 $ / noc). Kluci hodinu řeší,

... hop aboard one of the famous cable cars. (check out the video of them turning the cable car around)
Once on the cable car a peculiar things happens….it goes up the steepest hills EVER. Sure, you’ve seen pictures of San Francisco..the hilly streets, etc. But, to be in a cable car on one (or walking on one later as we learned) is a truly awe inspiring moment. The cable car was packed but enjoyed the ride.
We got off at a place called Ghirardelli Square which ...
so this morning we woke up late and watched WALL-E. Such a cute movie, loved it. we made toast, managed to find plates, and tried the spray on butter. discovered that spray on butter must be for people on a diet, does not hold up to my slathering standards.finally got out of the house by one, harry's wasn't open until 4, so went next door, were not impressed. had watermelon lemonade. played with crazy lady's tiny dog. ate gelato. bianca and parthiv almost got run over by bus.

... perpendicular. The acrobatics and choreography were incredible (as well as the costumes) and the stage is 9 stories high. Was even better than the show Bryn and I saw in Auckland a couple of years ago.
Bryn decided her REALLY needed to check out LV, so I took the children off to bed and he wnet back to the Casino. Of course, he found the sports bar and surrounded by locals, he stayed up to watch 2 rugby games, including ...
... especially since SF won 2-0, the atmosphere is exactly what 'family sports' should be - in other words nothing like a football game at home. We got back to the hotel and retired to the bar for a pint of Fat Tyre before heading up to the room to pack. San Francisco is a fantastic city, we'd been told that by anyone that had already been there and is already hight up on the list of places to go back to ! Next stop - Anaheim, & DISNEYLAND !!!
San Francisco, California, United States judeth... to do. - Staring in wonderment at the enormity of the Grand Canyon despite having yet another sunrise at a World Heritage Site dampened by clouds - here's hoping Macchu Picchu will come good for us... - Being dazzled by the bright lights of Las Vegas when staying in the uber-kitsch Caesar's Palace with a view from our window of the strip and a 20 storey high picture of Donny and Marie Osmond. - Seemingly ...
San Francisco, California, United States emilykamalDuring my four months in America I had been lucky in feeling safe in a world of seediness and gun carrying folk. In some places I'd been to they had signs in the window telling gun owners that weapons were not allowed on their premises, quite whether that meant that everywhere else was allowed to have guns remained to be seen. One thing was sure that there certainly remained a divide between the world of presidents and the world of regular folk. Gordon Brown is still a ...
San Francisco, California, United States wolfieboy69... and took a walking tour for the outside stuff and after climbing a steep hill. Seriously, so many hills here! Anyway go to the top and got inside and got an audio tour which was pretty cool actually. Authentic prison doors closing/ a guard ordering you around, showing you where 4 people got shot, and where grenades blew up, all filled with love and happiness!! I loved it inside, there was all the stories of the mentalists that they had locked up in there and all the cells ...
San Francisco, California, United States vicky864... little Italian restaurant where the best ever pork sandwich was consumed by Kerry... Allison had arranged tickets for the San Francisco Ballet - how lucky were we! So our one night in SF was spent feeling like a million in the ballet - wearing our finest jeans at that :-)
San Francisco, California, United States kerryanders... the laptop with me just in case I needed help finding something or some place. I had walked around the wharf for a while and it was getting to be about 330 in the afternoon. I had seen many businesses concerning tours of the city and the bay but I had not seen any advertisements for a tour of Alcatraz. I searched the internet for any Alcatraz tours and information. It turned out that the tours were only given by 1 company, The Alcatraz Tour Company and the last ...
