Swamp tour
... line in the hallway, very exciting times...lol but a good way to get to know your fellow travellers . Had to unpack and repack the suitcases and yes buy another on board bag cause we have run out of space in our cases and we still have two more weeks of goodies to buy ...I think we are going to be hit with excess baggage by the time we get home....all in all New Orleans hasn't really impressed us, they are holding the Super Bowl next year so they are trying to repair ...
Madagascar On My Mind...
... runs out, I walk into town, battery in tow, and getting charged up at the auto shop. Perhaps I shall purchase a red rider wagon to tote my battery around. Ha! I can’t wait to start this new crazy life-style.
I also get to work with a Lutheran bible school while I am there. I think that I will mostly be teaching English, but I’m not sure what else they will throw me into. Uncertainty breeds adventure!

... country club where drag queens were singing and dancing for us between the tables, cheerleading was playing on the TVs above the bar, and (the best part) there was a clothing optional pool in the back of the gorgeous mansion. We spent hours sunning and hanging in the pool, looking at all of the beautiful naked people and sipping on mango daiquiris. I gotta say, it was pretty lovely. And brunch will never ever be the same again. Ever.

... stumbled across a site that listed free or cheap things to do - and there we found streetcars. In New Orleans you can pay $3.00 for an all day pass on the streetcars and transfer between all 3 lines. We decided this would be a cost effective way to see the city! We headed back to the state park to pay for the next couple of nights since we decided to stay, and then headed into town to catch our ride. We ended up finding the Canal Street line ...
