Hilton Milwaukee River

I'm working on a grant for the National Institutes of Health that is due early next week. Once that's done, it's full-on preparation for our month-long Journey to India. Daisy is doing her Santa impression (making her list, checking it thrice) and we received 4 new pieces of luggage the other day. <br><br>The airline tickets are booked and now we just have to finalize some domestic trips while on the sub-continent.<br>

Exciting times! One more day before the big trip and we are doing out last minute preparations before we go. There are things to be packed though and that will get done tonight and then a little bit more tomorrow. We have an evening flight so we should be pretty well rested and ready to scout about Copenhagen as soon as we get checked into the hotel.<br><br>Stay tuned for more!<br>

... I know it is still early, but it gave me a peace thinking I had a place for sure. I know God will provide, whether through this family or another. The family got back to us yesterday (the day after I wrote this,) and confirmed. =) PRAISE THE LORD!!!

... tour! Too bad I didn't bring my camera to that, because now all I have is a dozen **** camera phone pictures of Travis Barker's fly-over-the-crowd drum solo! Amazing. Anyway thanks to the hospitality of Rob and his friends (well most of them j/k lol rofl), although short-lived, I had a great time in Milwaukee and certainly hope to visit again.

... used the highest grade hotel shampoo she could find. Needless to say that 24 hours later, the whole family (except Alex and Emma) were taking hair dryers to dry her clothes so that she can pack them by the time they come for our bags at 1:30 pm. ... up later in the trip as " I coulda, shoulda and woulda". I wanted to see them so bad and also get a bit more info/idea of the town. So I called Cathy, then Glenn and Patti. They were all so sweet, they thought it was great that I wanted to come back and on top of it, invited me to stay at their home. After the call I felt so relieved, I knew it was the right thing to do. Thank you Milwaukee for being such a nice town, I like to come back if you'll have us...

Arrival in Milwaukee i am in Milwaukee now. The first flight was a little bumpy, but i did not get sick. The carpet is a little better here. 2nd flight my next flight should be boarding soon. A man just missed his flight in the next terminal and he is maaaaadddddd. Ok, we are all boarded, and it's not a very full flight.
