... pulled up to escort us on the march (sirens included!) When turning out of the car park our resident techie (Neil) who was acting as flag bearer decided that he was temporarily back in the UK leading the whole march towards the UK side of the road into oncoming traffic! Thankfully some others were more awake and quickly shouted for him to move over! The band headed the march along with Salvationists ...
... rye flour; which I find hard to find in the grocery stores out here. You can also get farm eggs from a fridge in the back.
There was another store on the property that looked like a country store selling local meats & cheeses and grocery items, but this was closed on Sunday. Just as well, I have a lot baking to do!
... try to ensure we add pictures of everyone as we travel so friends and family can see their loved ones!

... in the world but the hardest person to shop for and she dislikes shopping herself. Thus we took her shopping to get things she needed, despite her claiming she didn't need anything. After two new pairs of pants, a new sweater, a new purse and a new wallet, we successfully had gotten her things for her birthday. After a lazy afternoon, we then took her to her favourite restaurant for dinner, Boston Pizza. Happy Birthday ...
... their room. The tour guide said some of the artists have never seen snow before they arrive. The Ice Hotel is build with SNICE - snow/ice combo. They take the ice walls out each spring and store them in the ice building for the next year. The roof is built with SNICE each winter. The church is almost completed...I will try to get in tomorrow to take some pictures...they host about 30 weddings each winter.
