The staff had overbooked when we placed our reservation so we were upgraded to the next level up, which was quite nice. It wasn't exactly luxurious but pretty fancy nonetheless. We were bothered by the elevator noise to the point that my fiancee had trouble getting sleep.

Tammy & Jeff had already left for work by the time I got up, so had a quick breakfast and then caught the # 8 bus from right outside their home. On the way, some motorcycle cops came screaming past with sirens blaring and stopped all the traffic on a major intersection and I watched a convoy of black limos go past, one with a German flag on it.
