We got back to the school at about 8.20am, where I received a big shock upon seeing my transport to Ottawa - a nice big yellow school bus. We don't have these in England or the Caribbean so the fact I actually had to get on one now surprised me! We left promptly at 8.30am on a very long boring ride up to Ottawa. Or at least we thought, anyway<br><br>On approaching Ottawa, the teachers on the bus realised that the driver had absolutely no idea where he was ...

... to say, I get really dirty. <br><br>Anyway, David brought a big bag of potatoes so we start peeling and cooking all of them. It takes a while but it's delicious when it's done. After that, I take a nap in a shady spot, only to wake up in the blazing sun. Arg! Why do shadows move on you like that?!<br><br>So Bonnie and the rest of the gang had to leave. David, Matt and me were left all alone until Pam, another Matt, Nathan and Gilbert ...

Canada (seen everything), US (seen what I care to see), Mexico (Swine flu!!lol) just kidding..I'll see Mexico eventually but it's so low on the radar based on proximity that I just don't really think about it. Anywho, this isn't about Mexico..this is about le Japon! We plan on staying in Tokyo and Kyoto for the majority of the stay and yesterday I suggeted staying in a spa-type resort to ...

... so I had to shimmy down the rest of the slide and try to stand up on the ice which was a little tricky. But never mind it was all good. After that we just headed home for a normal evening. Other than that not much else is going on, we are enjoying seeing Ottawa but are keen to head up to Montreal and Quebec City when it starts getting a little bit warmer. We aren't prepared to brave it just yet. But our next thing to do is to go skiing for the day, we just have to find ...

... eyebrow. OMG, how embarrassing. I traipse around the world, and I bash my head right outside my door. Figures. I call Louise from the lobby phone and I'm so happy to find her there! She has my spare set of keys, so I give her a big hug, hand over her as-fresh-as-possible bagels and go back downstairs to rest. Phew, another awesome trip, another little dream of mine, realized. ... thought why not. If we are able to afford it, we have nothing to lose by Rajiv working on deferred salary and if we decide not to travel, it's savings in the bank. And then we talked about it more and hummed and hawed and in our initial discussions we thought maybe 3 months of traveling might be enough and then it was 6 months. We took a tour around the inside of the Parliament building, saw both chambers and the library, followed by a trip up the memorial clock tower with views over Ottawa, on the way out visited the memorial chapel. Well worth the time as the whole visit was free. spent the rest of the day after lunch walking and admiring the many views - sunny day.

... are a huge part of my life and I'm not ready to leave them, not to mention new freindships and close bounds i've made over grade 9 with some amazing people and i wouldnt imagen for a secend leaving them behind not to mention parents, siblings but I am excited too to exsplore but not alone and defently not without my closest friends.
